The clear share revenues of Lattakia Port General Company from LICT during 2015 reached about (5.7 Milliard SYP) according to the signed contract with LPGC, as the percentage of foreign currency out of this revenue reached around 25%.
LICT’S CEO Mr. Naman Sari has informed that the total handled containers during 2015 reached to (234933 TEUs) for 323 visited vessels which are reflected in good productivity despite the economic sanctions on Syria.
Consequently, and to implement the contract signed with Lattakia Port General Company and in accordance with the minutes of the settlement between both parties, during 2015 LICT has purchased new equipment in order to support the terminal operations. Where LICT has imported four Reach Stackers for full & empty with SANY Chinese brand, German collects, VOLVO motorized and equipped with the latest equipment in high quality, as these equipment’s were put to invest in terminal operating. And it’s expected that the arrival of the new Straddle Carrier /KALMAR brand/ during next days.
In the other hand, LICT has granted all of its employees (about 700 workers, including 160 workers of LPGC) an annual reward for the year 2015 that amount in maximum one month’s salary under accredited foundations and according to actual working days and annual performance of the staff.
Despite of the continuous of the economic sanctions on Syria, LICT keeps on providing high quality of services 7/24 and seeks to upgrade the work level and productivity to the highest records.
